We study the molecular mechanisms that drive intra-species and intra-strain microbial population dynamics. Our goal is determine how genetic heterogeneity in microbial populations influences spatial organization and host interactions. We are specifically focused on understanding how in Pseudomonas aeruginosa pathogenesis in chronic infections.
